Interesting People
A tale of 815 miles, 98 locks, two boats and one big triangle loop.
The winds are fair, the sky is blue and the fenders (and the crew) are pumped up for another boating adventure aboard the DenMar III and Two Rodes Aweigh.

This adventure takes us through the Big Triangle Loop in 40 days

Join us on our most excellent journey through the World Herritage Site known as the Rideau Canal and then to visit our neighbours to the south as we cruise through the Ottawa River into the St Lawrence Seaway, into the Old Port of Montreal, the Richeleau River to the Chambly Canal, Lake Champlain, the Hudson River, the Erie Canal, the Oswego Canal and then finally across the mighty Lake Ontario back onto the World Herritage Site of the Rideau Canal as we make our way home again.

Use the map below to track our progress and become familiar with our route.
